πŸ† Accreditation Criteria

Regardless of accreditation tier, all candidates must meet:

  • βœ… 75% of Key Tasks
  • βœ… 50% of Technical Skills and Competencies (TSCs)
  • βœ… 3 out of 5 Critical Core Skills (CCS)

The specific Key Tasks, TSCs, and CCS vary depending on the desired accreditation tier.


πŸ”§ Technical Skills and Competencies (TSC)

All candidates must fulfil 50% of the TSCs listed in the Skills Map. These are demonstrated through:

  • πŸ“˜ The Logbook
  • πŸ“ The Assessment Test

Requirements by role:

  • DDM Specialist (Tier 3): 14 TSCs (8 Core + 6 Electives)
  • DDM Lead (Tier 2): 18 TSCs (8 Core + 10 Electives)

πŸ”© Core TSCs

A set of 8 Core Technical Skills & Competencies (TSCs) has been identified in consultation with the DDM Workgroup.
These represent the essential skills needed to perform the job effectively.

All candidates must fulfil all 8 Core TSCs, regardless of tier.


🧩 Elective TSCs

Elective TSCs are the remaining skills listed in the Skills Map that are not part of the Core.

To meet the accreditation requirement:

  • Candidates must complete 50% of all TSCs
  • This includes the required number of Elective TSCs:

πŸ› οΈ Key Tasks

Key Tasks are defined in the logbook template and assessed by the candidate’s workplace supervisor.

  • Candidates must meet 75% of the Key Tasks relevant to their accreditation tier.
  • Refer to the DDM Job Roles for specific tasks by tier.

πŸ’‘ Critical Core Skills (CCS)

The Critical Core Skills are also assessed using the logbook by the workplace supervisor.

  • Candidates must meet at least 3 out of 5 CCS for their role.
  • Detailed requirements are listed under DDM Job Roles.
